on the road again!
"He who warned, uh, the British that they weren't gonna be takin' away our arms, uh, by ringing those bells, and um, makin' sure as he's riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be sure and we were going to be free, and we were going to be armed."

Harvest time...
Bringing in the beans, bringing in the beans
... and I think the Germanians have kicked the Grecos out of the Euros.
... and being the first warm sunny day for about three months, I'm going to go light the BBQ [man + fire thing y'know]

Had a great time kids, that was a gas.
Being Irish, he had an abiding sence of tragedy, which sustained him, through temporary periods of joy.

Re: on the road again!
well, that was fun
3660 miles of suckin' up 'Merican scenery.
trekked thru Oklahoma and Nuevo Meh-he-ko
were surrounded by Indians
trying to sell us authentic native wallets, sunglasses and engine oil ...
We had planned to move north into Colorado, but Murph's scorched earth strategy stopped us dead.
We woke up that Sunday morning before heading to Colorado Springs, turned on CNN and saw a fireman standing in front of our hotel talking about the 30000 evacuees in the area.
gah!
so we turned west and checked out the Grand Canyon and environs instead
Jeez, that is one uber-big hole!
and now we're back and boy! does the cat box need some serious maintenance!
later

PS: good to see Dan again
McBee is as cool in person as he is over Malta
sorry I missed Murph ... next time?
