What about having a choice of flying for blue or red, and whatever side you pick at the start is the one you fly for over the ten missions?

dont see a problem with using rockets, time wise its not historical, but its not a biggie for me.
Be a lot easier for the Hellcats to deal with the AAA.

I'll not be around this Sunday, work commitments as usual, but the next few Sundays will be fine.

Ok, then its one flight of SBDs and one of Hellcats, both in the bombing role, they will still have an escort of fighters as per "task force :FI:" standing orders.

If you guys can let me know then, or perhaps split the two bomber flights to one of SBDs and the other Hellcats, that way you could have one flight(F6F) deal with the AAA and other(SBD) carry on with the main task.

Alas poor Falcon we knew him well, you had a good run Stu, but we're all confident that like a burnt bird thing you will rise from the cinders. Gadje still continues to shoot everything Japanese at the moment, I've taken ...

I've heard of this war, nothing like the bellum clones at the moment. In this war you could fly a half dozen missions without seeing an enemy aircraft, but you still have targets to achieve.
It sounds interesting, though at the moment due to planning of missions etc, you dont fly often.

Thanks Tact, for me its the teamwork that gives me great satisfaction, dont care who leads or who wings, as long as the jobs done and we survived. Stu, your right about the lead giving out the overall tactics then devolving to flights then elements. We need to keep people together before during and ...

On our front page, Gen has put up images from last Sundays missions, if you look at numbers 10 and 11 you will see yours truly coming a cropper. The reasons are two...... 1/ AI has a tendency to target the lead.(mine is the place of honour :)) 2/ No covering wingman. 3/ monty python. This fight was ...

For the next few Sundays our sessions will involve Carrier take offs and landings, I know P.Ming you would have been simpler, but knowing this lot, odds are a few come in here looking to see whats what, thereby getting the message also. :) If y...
