In the Netherlands, at least where I live they always take their shoes of, unless the person who lives there says it's not needed. At home I never wear shoes. Kinda funny though since I have 2 dogs and they walk anywhere without thinking about it :D , ofcourse I whipe their feet with a towel in nast...
