Has anyone tried these new tank sims that were released not that long time ago:

Steel Fury: Kharkov 1942
and
WW2 Battle Tanks: T34 vs Tiger

?

Yes.

WW2 Battle Tanks: T34 vs Tiger:

I was Beta tester.

Simple answer:

Forget it!

Buggy buggy, bug, bug.

And all bugs we reported - they never fixed. And there's a lot they never fixed.

And also: The developer is not anymore beneath us.
Broke, you know.

That happens when you hand over an unfinished product to the customer and tell them that they gonna fix the bugs when they have sold enough copied.

They should have done it otherwise round, but they didn't want to understand.

With Steel Fury: Kharkov 1942, I'm unfamiliar.
Someone else on that product?

Macca,

Buy Steel Fury, it's excellent. There's no multiplayer but sure that's what T-v-T was designed for. That was buggy as hell but SF is very smooth, well-polished, realistic and immersive, especially with the Steel Panzers mod.

Lighthouse may have gone bust but if you can still get your hands on a copy the game has been patched up and has a small but dedicated modding community who have added lots of new vehicles, both player-controlled and AI. The developers, Graviteam, are a bunch of WWII realism enthusiasts based in Kharkov who remain active even on the English-speaking forum.

This post in the Graviteam forum will tell you (almost) everything you need to know:
