That was in the second mission, the battle of France one, the stats are for the Eastern front at the moment. We're still setting up the stats page for the Battle of France.

Still checking the 2nd ntrk for the umpteenth time to see who did what, it seems the mission log reader is a bit iffy for the bombers, Conrad plastered the area and it gives him no credit, from what I can see he should at least get 3 wagons and credit for three buildings. Armitage forgot to drop his big bomb but got results with the smaller ones and his machine guns, Stu did'nt drop his bombs at all according to the ntrk(is that right?), Neil hit three buildings and 2 vehicles and his gunner shot down a fighter. I'll update the stats later today, as ever if there any doubts about anything, post here and let me know.

You will note in your track that I, Sacktime, never fired a shot. This is accurate, I saw lots of action from afar and chased alot of calls for help from the JU-87's, and danced with some fellow 109s, I did get shot at (although I never did see him, thanks Pike for clearing my tail). Overall it was uneventfull for myself, oh one more thing I blame my crash in the Kiev map due to LAG(it's my excuse and I'm sticking with it), my altimeter read 380m, just a second before impact, it had absoulutely nothing to do with my flying skills (learned all my bad habits form fellow FI m8s) or the MC.200 serise 3, I found myself flying or the 2 IL16s (I think they were, could have been LaGGs) I was dancing with at the time. Overall it was a good time.

I didn't drop my bombs?
Uhhh ... I pipped my pickle. I
thought I got a 'hit something' report. My back-seater got a bad guy. That kill earned my few points. The French farm house I obliterated deserves some points too.
I saw Dutch hit his mark. Below is a shot of the marshaling yard after my demise and Murph's artillery hit.
It doesn't prove anything, but we Stuka boys did our part!
Grrrrreat missions yesterday. Keep up the good work.
Oh, and great Stuka skin too Sneaky.

No doubt about it, watched it quite a few times and it was'nt a bad attack at all, its a pity that fighter support was slow in responding to your cries for help. The intention was to punch a hole through the fighter defence and get them involved with us, but we passed the first group without seeing them and that allowed them to reach you. Perhaps if something like this comes up again we should have at least one flight of fighters as close support.
Thats the stats up now.

Yeah great mission and everything went well big Thanks for the research on the bombrun, that makes the mission even better for me.
Falcon did his part too because when he hit he mentioned that he got his confrim too and i saw the explosions.
both of us went for the Airfield first, well i did and In my dive attcack I changed to a target in town because i was on top of it at that moment.
But on the way back to our homebase I managed to land correctly without any bump or whatever and that was my best achiefment of the whole mission.
This taste for more.

Great Job Conrad.
About the close fighter support, I think having us split on different channels may have hurt us there. From what I can gather we all hit different bunches of fighters, and where's we thought we were all fighting in the one place we were in fact all over the shop; this allowed the frog's to get into the bombers. We'll have to work on this.

I'll have to take some blame for that, I was a wing leader, I forgot the 6 P's of success;
"
Poor
Planning and
Preparation
Produces
Poor
Performance"
I did jump onto the Ju87 Freq and tried to coordinate some kind of escort with them with my wing. We were able to link up just as they got jumped en route to the target (I had a Ju87 sighted in head on before I saw his dance partner chasing him), and like every good plan nothing survives first contact. I lost the Ju87 flight and my wing was tossed all over.
A
suggestion for future HE/CO-OP, I think one escort wing or part of should be on the same channel as the bombers and they provide primary escort while the remaining fighter wings conduct fighter sweep along the bombers path at varying altitudes(domination of area)all traveling on a center of axis (same heading more or less). I like the split channels, reduces the confusion, I have the FI Teamspeak flights hotkeyed so I can jump to any flight, as I did with the Ju87 flight.
My 2 cents anyways, I have many more Ideas but I don't want to get too technical regarding Command, Control, Communication stuff.

Yes!
Sacktime ACTUALLY cared and called us up! I appreciated the effort mate.
I tried to organize something on the radios at the last minute, but I mostly got blank stares
and blank stares through the TS are freaky.
I remembered MY six 'P's' though ...
pitiful preflight prevents pilots passing penguins
...
or something like that.
