This is the autobiography written by WW2 pilot Samuel Hynes; a kid from Minnesota who would go on to become a veteran Avenger pilot at Iwo Jima, among other battles. It's a rather candid, honest retrospection. (Penguin Books, 1988) I would even mail it to any m8 who is interested if they PM me their address. Cheerz!
