Well the uber sound card arrived. Just need a minijack to XLR converter to plug the mic in for TS
Given quite a boost to'46. So far so good.

M-Audio 10-10LT.
Can now run full 44100 32 ch audio without impacting frame rate , no nasty pops and bangs like the SB; which had to run in lowest settings.
They do the Revolution 5.1 or 7.1 for those less ambitious and probably better than an Audigy or XFi
Hooray no more poxy mini jacks.

Rather like ma'sel, I've got an old desktop mic taped to my headset ATM. Boom mic having been 'worked on' by my teething bairn
