Ardmore isn't going to be able to host this comming Sunday as I think he posted elcewhere. And Mike has been trying to test the server he's been working on for yonks now. So why not give that a go and hold of on the coop's. Maybe y'all need a break for a bit. Or ye could try doing a mixture of both for a bit next sunday, but do it on mike server because he's trying to see what it can cope with.
Also while I'm here we are planning a "Lock On" Session for the following week, and like mike we have been trying to get this off the ground for years all we need is player's and the only time you can get them is Sunday. I would like to get this running maybe one sunday each month. so ye putt, putt pilot's would be without Ard, Rules, L.F, Gen, Scott, Gurb, Me, Pike and if I can get in contact with them Deathsledge and Noter

I don't mind joining LOMAC sessions but I still need to install it, patch up and retake all my physics classes again. But it is a breath of fresh air from all those 'slow' prop aircraft.

Been wondering again about trying these planes with the big hairdryer's at the back.

Dunno if IL2 can keep my full interest till BOB anymore. And I doubt I'd suit an elf dress as much as Falcy so RPG's are out for now :)

Its setting the bugger up that I dont know if I've the patience for. But I might try it this weekend.

I have LOMAC, but only the original game not the Gold edition so will not be able to join I guess.

I might take a week off flying on Sunday given all the shenanagins and wait for the following week.

Enjoy your "hairdryers"

I have the latest patch for FC, but have never played on line. I'd like to be involved in a future sesh once I've got my TrackIR back and after a little practice, please. :)

If you have the game and it's all patched up. you should join even if it's only to look @ what the rest of us are doing, to kind of get an idea of how thing's work. A lot of people get this game put it in give it a try get killed and bin it, where if given a bit of time it's un-real. Anyone who has taken the time say's , as have I "IT's Better then IL-2". I'll try to post some screen shot's later to give ye a flavor of what it's like and to dis-spell this whole notion that you never see your target, at the start you do but all to quickly you see the white's of the dude's eye's. and I'll post one of the king of all ground attack plane's that while it so hard to master once you do it's a pure dream to fly and I ain't talking about that panzey ass A-10 :D

Ah, the Su-25 Frogfoot! It's got so many hard points that it can store the whole US armaments in one go! 8) I'm going to load it up this evening and give it a go. I did fly the A-10 in the original game some years ago as one of me m8s loaned it to me. Seeing those mavericks hit those tanks was dreamy. In most aspects this game is superior to Il2 notwithstanding the steep learning curve. The graphics are good as well as the explosion effects. :)

This game really kicks ass. A big learning curve, but if you take it in steps (as I'm doing) it's resonable, and the rewards of this sim are huge. I'd love to fly with you guys, but Sundays are rough to swing time for flying. At the least I'll try and come listen in or watch (if possible) for as much as the wife will let me.

Had a chat with the lady who knows best. I can swap my weekends over, so on teh bbasis you are doing a Lockon sesson on the week after the 25th, I'll be there for than then. Which does unfortuanely mean a no no fo this weekend.

Might try and hook up with you Rab during teh week to check I have got it working again properly?

As it comes :)

Sorry guys this PC is pretty unstable so I'm taking a leave of absence online. Just had time to run SH4 and LOMAC and then kaput- a mushroom cloud seen from deep south.

Sorry I missed out last night. Had an op on Thursday last week and didn't feel too clever (bit of a blow after a brain transplant actually)

I will certainly be up for LOMAC sessions so long as my long campaigning PC holds out. New machine due end May/start June.

No session on Sunday

Folks!

Maybe I missed something but as far as I know the LOCK ON session didn´t take place at all since Rab didn´t show up (or did he?). I hope that he didn´t have any troubles with his new PC though ... :?

Don´t despair, folks! There´ll be a next one for sure! :)
