Okay, in some of the Japanese ac there is an annoying cover on the gunsight. How the heck do you uncover it?!

Isn't it the same way you "center" on the german gunsight? (though the default keystroke eludes me for the moment)

Found it!

"Tinted Reticle Dimmer"

default = Ctrl D

Hell, I neither use gunsights, flaps, guns... I usually fall asleep in me cockpit.
