Judging from the screenshots the graphics look pretty mediocre. I'll probably bypass this one. At least I got to see a Fokker D.VII. :)

Well, graphics is not everything. Think about FM, immersion, etc.I would rather see a medicore graphics and good playability for wide range of users with different PCs instead of another resource hog for ubgr-high-end PC owners.

Never mind the 4 Terra pixel holographic display is only another ten years away.

I don't think this is a re-named 'Knights of the Sky'. There is a thread over at Ubi directing towards the Gennadich team- Im pretty sure they did Over Flanders Fields ?

From the screen shots on the First Eagles site I can see what looks like a very CFS'ish red target direction arrow which makes me think that it could be from the same stable as OFF.

I think I will keep an eye on this one and see how it reviews. So far as graphics goes My current PC is not up to cutting edge stuff anyway so Im not over-bothered if it isnt uber pretty.

If it ain't pretty it ain't worth taking out on a date. My mantra for games. Of course gameplay storyline and controls go together for a well-rounded game. But poor graphics often put me off of some games. Looking at the terrain reminds me of early CFS. I'm currently looking at MS Flight Simulator X which had a graphics upgrade and sure looks great, particularly the scenery. I, too will wait for a review.

There are plenty of games that have looked great but were absolute crap when played. Quake IV looked great, was built on an excellent game engine, but was a horrible game. Substance, in my opinion, is more important in games. Looks only goes so far before you need something more. Besides, there is a happy medium between the two. I'm not saying that this game is it, just saying that games in general are more than their graphic representation...

Besides, it's all opinion anyway. What is vapid and pointless to one person, is a complete knockout to another.

Snaph.

Ok, what I was trying to say is that good graphics to me is like a good first impression. Being in the field of 3D I have that critical eye for details. Yes high-end games are the norm now and we have to move with the technology. But this game reminds me of buying a 45 rpm record at the same price as a DVD but less quality. But this is just my opinion, I could be wrong.
