What LCD do you use?
Size?
Resolution?
Standard or Wide Screen?
Speed in ms?
Recommendations on models to avoid would also be appreciated.
Thanks!!!!!

That is something significant to keep in mind. If I were thinking of picking up a widescreen I know certain games that I presently enjoy would have to be turned down (way down). But then again I wouldn't need to use AA so maybe that would help to compensate a little.:FI:Dr_Strangelove wrote:One thing that you need to keep in mind though is the horsepower of your PC. You will need to game at 1600x1200 or 1920x1200 in order to maintain aspect ratio.
LOL....ok here is the beast::FI:TacticalS! wrote::FI:Dr_Strangelove wrote: Curious Doc what's your rig again and can you comment on how it is handling some of the newer games? Hearing from some with really good machines having a little trouble running some of them, and I don't think they have the display set this high.
TS!
While nice overall, MACs are way overpriced. You could build that same system and throw windows on it for about half that price.Kitty wrote:Actually with the new study of web design coming up for me (CIW foundations/site designer), I'm actually considering buying a mac. The only computer I'll ever need then.
*ducks*
Though I'm serious about getting a mac. Probably a 2.0ghz 17" i-mac for €1200
