Hi.I'm a newbie here, hoping to join the FI!I'm 16 and live in Louisiana.I know I'm a bit young, and I know I'm far from the best pilot, but I promise to put forth my best efforts and fly as a part of a team, not just for myself.I've grown up around the military all my life, my father being in the Air Force Reserves with the Hurricane Hunters.I've also been studying World War Two basically since I could talk.I love to fly, and am currently looking for an instructor so I can begin REAL flying lessons.Anyway, I don't know what else to say.I hope to keep in touch.I have to go, it's around 10:30 here, and I have school tomorrow(go ahead and pick at the youngster...I don't care.....I'll laugh with ya.lol.)Anyway, I'll see yall later.

Dont worry about the age thing, I am 16 too. I joined the squad when I was 14, and the guys where all very frendly and hardly ever kicked me from their servers
welcome!

Welcome to the funny farm!
As for instructors. Err, well since you can't really bribe them with guinness or other irish heavenly moist, I'd suggest just poking your nose often enough for them to notice you. Hang out on the forums, the hyperlobby, call them on the phone, following them to their houses ... well you know, the usual.
Also, from what I can tell it doesn't really matter if you can't fly well. Just go down in style and they'll truly will appreciate your abilities.

Guinness...yuck! Hated that since throwing it up on a date.
Anyway I digress. Welcome to the FI but not so fast kiddoo. Contact our resident hippie and gumbo chef FI:Falcon on how to join up. I still need to do that as soon as my dog gives me back PF we were playing as a frisbee.

Well you seem to be able to spell better than all the other Louisians I know. Looks like you can string two coherent sentences together as well!!

Yeah, not bad for a kindergarten school dropout, huh?
I think the problem is that they keep getting all that sticky gumbo on their keyboards and they stick.

Hare? Isn't that a rabbit or something?
Anyway Jetguy06 I hope you like Sheep as that is an advantageous prereguisite. I should really get off my butt and start flying with these guys. And don't worry Falky is a cool cat, erm I mean ferret.

Last time I checked AltarBoy wasn't a member of the squad...
So he's not entitled to 'EAT' anyone.... unless he pays first, of course
