Hi
This is way of base in a flight oriented forum, well flight and groundpounding forum, but hey here goes.
Every morning I pass this "hobbies" shop with a window stuffed full of obscure plastic models you know mainly japanese and including Victor Tankers,LA5's,etc.
Anyway they have this 1/72 Flower Class Corvette by Revell, which must be pretty big,I had thanks to SH3 been looking at the Type C U-Boat,by Revell, but the corvette seems more attractive.
Has any body hereabouts built one of these monsters?

I´ve made only C-130 in 1/72 and B-17 in 1/48.. those were pretty big, but nothing compared to that..

hey finbar, i did the flower class corvette!
the kit is quite fine, but there are lot of things one can improve.
google the web and you find lots of third-party parts to inrease the detail of this fine ship.
i built mine radio-controlled, there's enough space to install it properly.
unfortunately my ship got destroyed when a five-year-old acted pretended to be godzilla (sigh).

i thought about building it again.

currently i work on a britsh frigate from 1780 (called "President"), its all wood and brass, very relaxing (and time-consuming).

go and get it!
