Hey all,
I'm back from an extended drunk, and am looking to fly again. Any chance your looking to fill out the ranks? It's been a while, but hopefully a few folks will remember me. Hey cool, my avatar is still here.
Happily I've got a new rig for flying, and in a day or two should have "eyeball on a stick" technology too (TrakIR).
It took a while to claw my way into getting a new machine and what not, but I've already got everything installed, patched and tested. I don't actually suck as bad as I thought I would. A lot has changed though, feels good to be behind the stick again. BTW I think the clouds changed?
Anyway, can't help but notice that No. 38 is still free.... hint hint.
Cheers Mates,
Spook
ps. Oh and Tac, I got my Rata all polished up
Spooky´s back in da house!

Long time no see, mate! I hope life has been treated well so far. So, you want to return to the
Fighting Irish Polished Up Ratas? Well, in this case fill in the application that you´ll find on the "Squadron" or "Rogues" page and wait for TempPermRecruitment Officer Falcon´s response. He´ll tell you which way to go the the next Rata pimper ...
Welcome home, Spooky!
App thingie not functional

Hmm. I tried the application, but it said I was an internal server error. Well, I'll just put my app here for easy storage.

Me give you booze, you give me number 38 (big smile).
Hi Falcon,
How are things mate. I've been away for a while, but am looking to get back into flying. So I guess this is my application. Let me see, what else, hmm... oh yeah, I'm irish, my favorite drink is Whiskey, my avatar is a little green alien creature. I love the Rata, with the Brewster coming a close second. Pretty much an early war whore (39-41). I've never taken off from a carrier, actually I'm so rusty I can barely land in a field.
As far as my skills go, uh... planes can fly, they use sideways beenies to go. Bullets come out of the front of the plane (usually). The Rata is the best plane. Lurched over TB3's are really good for straffing airbases, and contain a bar and swimming pool for the passengers. Passengers are called "cattle". Ninja's are cool. Hmmm... yeah that about covers it.
Oh, yeah, does anyone still play murderball, or what ever that game Snoop figured up? That was cool.
Cheers,
Spook

Well well well look what crawled back to us lads.
So my fellow Nova Scotian mate wants back in, eh? Cool!
It's been a while since we enjoyed flying together my friend. Glad to hear you have got a better PC and getting TIR. Thought you had it before though? If I remember correctly you had just picked up a nice hotas (X-52 right?).
As for the Rata, well she's still good but since the last bunch of patches not as fun (for me anyway) as before. While I still love the Eastern Front probably now more experienced (but not necessarily better
) at Western and even Pacific theatres.
BTW I host Friday campaign sessions called Historic Encounters. Occasionally I can't host like last week, but for the most part they have become a weekly staple for a lot of lads especially in North America. Click on my banner below for further information. You have the latest commercial patch (4.05), right Spooky?
If your schedule allows would love to see you become a regular participant. We will be soon starting a Western theatre campaign series. Might be this week or next. We just finished an Eastern theatre series.
Regards,
Mark

Thanks for the many welcomes guys. Looking forward to the campaign flying Tac. BTW I just got Track today... HolY S***!!! Me like a lot. Just got to stop jigging with the hat switches though. What is the next squad flying time, or is there still a regular server?
