Telephone call

My Phone rang just now...
Me " hello"
Asian call centre guy "Wear sending you absolutely free mobile phone, no handling charges , abosoluteley..."
Me "Why?"
guy " Of the phone there is no charge to you, and we give you first month 30% off your monthly subscription,..."
Me " I've got all the connection I need."
guy " this is 3g network , what do you use sir"
Me " I use carrier pidgeon, no monthly connection, just a little seed. ."
guy "pardon.."
me " carrier pidgeon, we have some eggs at the moment if you're
interested"
guy "aahh.. no. . .
me "well thank you , perhaps some other time." (hangs up)

Bell South has a horrible reputation, and I was actually dialing
1.800.FAT.LADY
They connected me to
1.800.FAT.LADD
Either it was a typo in the ad, or Falcon had a new source of income.

Awesome! I am in corporate sales for a living so I will usually at least listen to a good sales pitch. Sometimes if they get me in just the right mood, I will give him some selling advice and ask him to start over with a "Real" pitch. Of course I never buy anything
My old roomate in college used to mess with Telemarketers so badly I wish we would have a tape recorder. He would sit around thinking up scenarios just waiting for a telemarketer to call and mess with.
