If the Germans start losing the game,
will one of the German players go up the the coach and say,

There's not been much of an issue the last few times they have met up in the European Cup and the World Cup finals.
The article refers to Germans and Poles. I don't think you can infer that there would subsequently be an issue between Germans and English supporters.

Fraid there was a bit of trouble in Stuttgart today between German and English fans....hopefully just a one off

"Rather than stand there all night with abusive and drunken people, it was decided arrests should be made," he said.
No known troublemakers were among the mostly "preventative arrests.
