Now that i´ve got this new graphics card, i´d like to get the most of it... So, put those settings in the game menu, to the max...

Is there anyhting else i can do, to improve my graphisc? Like mess around with that Conf.ini-file?

Here´s how it looks like... It sure improved, compared to my old rig...

Oh, i also noticed this weird thing:

I flew a Bf109 g-6, with a MK-108 on the nose... When i fired that cannon, the muzzle flash and the smoke totally blocked my view to the target... I´ve never seen anything like that... Is it because those improved graphics? And how can i get the old, small muzzle flash and smoke back? ;)

conf.ini Guide
Graphics guide

I've had more than one instance of conf.ini missing data after a patch/install etc. worth looking there I guess.

Could try screen res.the higher the better- till it affects FPS

I trust youve checked your joystick sensitivities in IL2, maybe the new stick is more sensitive - try a shallower curve

Moe,

What kind of Framerates do you get with those settings?

I am running only water 1 but at 1600x1200 with 2xAA and 16x AF. It seems that if I run with water 3 or 4 the framerates drop as low as 25fps sometimes.

Think you need to set

Gates into another Dimension=4

to be where Falcons at

try tweaking with a Sonic Screwdriver and drain the plasma conduits

I went to NY some years ago to buy components for my rig and bought an ATI Radeon X800 Pro card. Good stuff but PF looks bad in some respects, like the edges of rivers and anything with white looks jagged. I turned on AA high, low and medium without results. I already have the latest Catalyst drivers installed. Think I'll try that config. settings posted above and see if that works.
