If you have not seen this, you really need to check it out. It is an awe inspiring vision and makes you wonder what kind of military presence we actually have.

NO Problem, I changed it in the back end. You should be able to see now without having to register.

Thats pretty amazing. Has any ever gone missing? would they notice if I borrowed one for the weekend? has it got amazing security incase some small army parachutes in and steals a whole flight?
Wonder how long it would take to make one flight worthy..

Could make a mint on e-bay ^_^

Even more impressive to see it with your own eyes. I used to drive through Tucson twice a week on my way out to Kalifornia and back.

Pima Air Museum is very nice as well.

There is an article in the latest issue of Flight Journal magazine about this place. Most of the aircraft are stored there such that they could be used if the need ever arose, so it's not really a graveyard.
It takes a month or two to get one of them back to flying condition, because the fuel systems are drained, and have light oil run through them to preserve them, then they are sprayed with a latex-like substance to prevent them from being sandblasted by the desert winds.
It's quite a process they go through to keep them from getting ruined while they're in storage.
