Looks about right to me. It is a small bike and ought to haul ass!!

Some serious grins in that machine. ;)

Eventually mine will look like that hopefully. As I salvage from wreck to wreck, I think the powertrain is going to be the only thing left in a couple of years, as I have written everything else off!
Don't know why I like inline twins, I just haven't a clue.

Got the paint on the scoot yet Willie?

No paint yet.. Just scored a 3" PRIMO open belt drive set up for the primary stuff. I guess that big beast is gonna be "kick only" for a while.

NO CALLOUSED THUMBS FROM PUSHING A STARTER BUTTON FOR ME!!! :p  Probly regret that decision first time it takes the mood to refuse to light............ :? OR when the damn kicker gears shell out..

Oh well..

You know what they say...

Real men use the kickstart. And REAL bikes have them ;)

If you can't kick it to life, kick it to death

:)

But then I own a Russian Piece of Crap (RPOC).

:?

One must be demented to have a love of motorcycles that don't run. Money cannot buy such commitment.....

Profound, my brother, very profound. Dead on the mark as well.

As for kickin it to death? It's liable to win.. BIG assed "lumpy" cam. 10 to 1 compression and 93CID. At least it'll have electronical ignition. ;)

Magnetos are cool but he spark is WEAK at low rpm ( unless ya got one of those spiffy thingies like plane magnetos have). I doubt they'd stay together at the RPM's these motors run at though..... :?

Heh...

I've been driving myself insane the last two weeks troubleshooting a bike that worn't start.

I wnet through all the electrics looking for a loose ground or a stuck swtich, reset the timing at least three times, recharged the battery three times and did almost everything else you can think of.

THe bike just quit running two weeks back. 'Twas running fine until that day....

So, after EVERYTHING has been tested and I'm none the wiser, a guy says to me... maybe you got some bad petrol.... And I says - naw... can't be that....

So, at my wits end today I drained the tank and plopped in 5 litres of fresh juice, turned the key, depressed my starting mechanism (kickstart) and the fecker sprang to life.....

THe moral of the story is always have fresh petrol available and always drain your tank at the start of the riding season.... that's if it ever stops where you live....

Ahhhhhhh.... beer time....

Another job well done!
