Recently I got so hacked of with Windows Media Player that I removed it from Windows and installed Real Player.
Given my vow for clean living and abstinence what shpuld I do?

I would suggest you start praying too...
as lots of movies files are .wma files that can only be played in WMP, as far as I know... but then I'm not a PC geek... just a geek....
I'd uninstall Real Player too if I were you. And iTunes and all other software except that whihc you badly need.
You will feel infinteily freer in teh crotch region, believe me.
All that software is not good for your hardware....
