Just like the title says , I'm in need of a decent programme to edit things. All I have are paint and ARc Soft version 3 which aren't exactly brilliant
I'm hoping to crack on with a few of these certificates and want to get them to a really good standrad so could you guys recommend any programmes(preferably free but if neccessary I may purchase
) that are good for editing and making things for il2.
Some of you use Paint shop pro
or something...
Thanks in advance.

Photoshop, not cheap by any means, couple hundred (legally)
, but a great software package. I don't know Paintshop very well, at all really, but I know Falcon does amazing stuff with it, along with others.

okay ...
I soooo-oooo sick today ...
but I think I can still move my fingies ...
PaintshopPro is almost as good as PS
and better in some ways.
I found it on the shelf for $100,
minus $50 in-store coupon,
minus $30 rebate.
Yep ...
PSP for $19.95.
Shop around.
Now,
someone tell Skip about GIMP
It's time for my 5:30 pass-out.

Ok
Another option is the free and open source software the GIMP. You can get it here:
http://www.gimp.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It's very popular and has a lot of the same features as Paintshop Pro and Photoshop.
s!
Snoop
PSP's my no.1

Hope you got Animation Shop included.
Great for making .gif,.avi and.ico animations
Photoshop might have the edge for 3D text effects and some of the plug-ins that are available.
Otherwise I use PSP 7 every time.
Anyone use Knotworker? thats a nice little Celtic design package, comes with "Uncial" fonts too

I'm partial to PSP 7. A little easier to use (and affordable) than Photo Shop.
