off to the operation! ga!

hernia operation in the morning...bright and early. man, i dread this, but has to be done. gonna sew up the weak spot and put some mesh in my gut against future blowouts. it suxs...
though having a few days off from the stress of work IS appealing to me. lol!
wish me luck... and yeah, even doped up, i'll keep my eyes out for some #10 nurses in tight uniforms while i'm there. course with my rotten luck, all i'll see is ole bags.
another bummer...no food/water/smokes after midnight tonight. ga!

Beo...good luck to you mate! My re-emergence here has been in part prompted by convalecence from that very procedure! 3 weeks ago today, in fact. Just pray you don't have to cough/sneeze/laugh/hiccup...etc.etc. for a good week! Pretty tender, but otherwise, a piece of cake! I return to work in another week
...told my wife I planned to recover in the casino/bar, she nixed that, so here I am.
