I've managed to pursuade a mission building genius aka TacticalS/TS! into giving us a 'mission building workshop/seminar' - We need to know whos interested and whos going to show!
Saturday 28th January, 4pm EST on Teamtalk
We can possibly book the genius between..
Monday January 23rd - Sunday January 29th
(if the 28th is not do-able and you want in)
Its a little away from dogfights and coops I know but its seriously worthwhile if your able.
If there is lack of interest it'll be cancelled
Thanks again TS, I'll be there if there is a good show of support

Easy with the use of genius mate.
For clarification I will be busy this Saturday (January 21st), but next Saturday (January 28th) would be great. Please edit your post mate.
Also are you sure about that time? There is a 4 hour difference between the Maritimes (Atlantic Time Zone) and England. Right now it is 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon but 7:00 p.m. where you are lad.
Let's shoot for a 9:00 p.m. start time for you (England), making it 5:00 p.m. my time. Ok? For North American mates this session would fall sometime in the late afternoon for most, and any Euro mates their evening.

It's cool now mate, except January 29th is a Sunday not a Saturday. But now I'm just being picky.
Btw not troubled over the classroom size NC, would make myself available regardless of how many would like to improve their lives - I mean - learn to building exciting COOP missions to impress their families and friends.

It's a proven fact that being able to build your own missions is a sure fire way to score with ladies

PS. The 29th was directly copied from your PM, but I'm not being picky either

Now we are just pointing fingers.
Score with the ladies? I'll mention this to Mrs. Tactical and see if it goes over well.

As promised like a week or two ago.
A mission builder can control respawn times of some objects on a dogfight server. Add the following lines to the <missionname>.MIS file:
[RespawnTime]
Bigship 1800
Ship 1800
Aeroanchored 1800
Artillery 1800
Searchlight 1800
The number is in seconds, so 1800 secs = 30 minutes. "Aeroanchored" refers to barrage balloons. "Artillery" is any artillery including AAA.
As a handy reference:
1 hr = 3600
2 hr = 7200
3 hr = 10800
4 hr = 14400
5 hr = 18000
Mininum respawn is 20 seconds and maximum is 100000 seconds.
Respawn entry in the mission file

I don´t know if you´ve already mentioned it, Tactical. But this above mentioned respawn entry in the mission file will be automatically deleted once the mission file has been opened by IL2´s FMB! So always check your mission files, folks!
Cheers!

Great point Gen! I did mention it via TS several weeks ago, but I think we lost McBiggles after asking him to open FMB.
TS!
I'll...

...not be able to make it.
Time Travel is beyond my current technical expertise.
Dammit!
But I'm working on it.

Sheet I didn't notice this thread and making a co-op has been a great ambition of mine...Three years on and still no further forward...I suppose I can live in hope..

Cheers TacticalS,
had been waiting for the respawn info patiently...
though slightly confused, so if it deletes it like Herr Frank says why put it in... or is it something that 'can happen' and to look out for it ?
