Overheating ATI Card - the revenge

My 9700 Pro has developed the same issues as Ardmores - lots of pretty red lines and strange graphic effects when the card has been running for a few minutes. I have had the guts of the machine out on the kitchen table and it seems like the fan that sits on the heat sink for the GPU is not spinning :?

I have put an old graphics card in for now but looks like I won't be doing any IL2 until my new PC arrives next month.

Not sure if you can get a replacement for these built in fans but I did see this on DABS

and I do have a spare slot I could use

Any body got any experience with these?

zalmans are rather expensive...

even some radiator e.g. for northbridge could do the trick i think, with radeon 8500 i used ZM-NB47J

those exhausts (in general) are cr@p

Yup, I put one on my X800 XT and it worked like a charm, had to get the optional fan, though. IT's really easy to put on and knocks about 10-15C off of your operating temprature. everything runs much more stable now.
