and since the majority of German Ordnance dropped in England was General Purpose HE, my guess is that it is a SC-500.

Yeah, my friend who served in the recon platoon in Kosovo, told me that one day locals came to them, and asked for a crane.

They wanted to move Nato´s 500lb bomb, which was dropped in the middle of their field, and didn´t explode... When recce arrived on the scene, they found out that locals had tried to chop it in the smaller portions with a chainsaw, so that it would be easier to move... :shock:

Like i always say to my conscripts: "if you dont know what you are doing.... DONT DO IT!"
