I know u guys like making skins!!! "unfortunately, i can't figure it out.

But would anyone like to make me a P-40 Skin?

If so...


P-40M

A really dark/olive-greenish-blackish color.

Give it a mean look to it. (extra weather effects, damage fixes... something that will scare u)

Maybey a shark mouth... but if u do, make it the meanest looking thing ever...

And all the :FI: markings and stuff...

and with snuffly, written somewhere,

I was hoping to do a wee bit next week when the new aircraft came out.

I'll see what I can do, but I hope you get a volunteer sooner than what I can prolly do.

I do have a P-40M of my own design, but it is rather clean if I recall correctly. I painted a fantastic mouth on it though. <ahem>

It may need some updating.

I can send that along this week with all sorts of Snuffly and FISy stuff and "57" all over it.

I dragged this out of one of my older folders

it needs some updating

and if you want a different tail with your favorite animal

or just plain or a serial number or whatever

but it's ready if you want one.



It has some fairly accurate line, rivet and detail updates and corrections already,

custon Irish tartan struts and side curtains

and wee leprechauns on the hubs.

You will be the envy of the block in this baby!

I haven't had time in a while either... in fact, I still have your Bf-109-G10... that I keep forgetting to send to you. I've been too busy with the War with Guilds to do any real skinning or flying. What with the endless running and the fighting and what not....

Not enough hours in the day to do everything I want and keep the lights on and my family fed.

Delving back into this old template I found many borrowed layers and many layers of some of my first attempts at skinning. I updated it a wee bit last year though. So, if folks want this skin understand that it still needs mucho worko.

I can jump in on this, don't think I could do anything before a week at least, but I'd give it a shot. Been thinkin' bout the 40 for a while anyway. I'm still stuck on the damn 190 spinner and cowling, but very close. So if you're not in a huge hurry, I'll thow my hat in the ring. Never done a P-40, so it'll be interesting. Now Falcon's stuff, gauuuddd, makes me ill. Please don't expect anything quite up to that par, damn, guys good.

Well, Falcon beat me, but I was close on my week estimate. Here is my P-40 for Snuffly, hope it suits ya.
