How do you know it is Zone Alarm causing them to time out? Explain the logic to your deduction and conclusions :)

If I leave ZA active some players join say 50%, others get time out. If I then disable the ZA and re-load same mission all get in ok

OK guess Zone Alarm is the numero uno suspect ;)

Must admit I have not had much experience of recent versions of ZoneAlarm. I had so many problems hosting with it a couple of years back I ditched it in favour of Norton.

No real suggestion as to what to change as the firewall is essentially following a set of simple rules and I can't imagine what could have been set to allow one random player in, but not another.

Not a secret plot to get the best planes was it ;)

I had probs with ZA.

Their answer was, "our freeware firewall is not configured to serve games." The PRO version is.

Hmmm. Yes. Suspiciously $$$$-oriented response, I'd say.

Didn't get any money from me after that. I bout a router and configured the firewall for that thing.

I did experiment with a less than legal "pro" version I found on p2p program. I like my router better. ;)

Either way, they lost.
