well, Falcon says to first log into Admin, which i did with no problem... then he says to re-register in the forums (i'm guessing with my new FI handle) which i tried.

no luck trying to register in the forums using my email addy... for it keeps saying that THAT email is already being used by another member (which i suppose it is under the old Beowolff name.) the cad!

a quandry it is.

well, i only have the one email addy and so have no other to give the infernal software proggy. i even tried going into the old Beowolff handle preference box and just changing my name there (since i sort of hate starting out posting at ZERO again anyway) to :FI:Beowolff... but it didn't like that either and wouldn't retain the FI prefix that way.

hmmmm...

should i delete the old beowolff's email addy out or what else to try?

Is there not a way to simply change the name of your current account on the boards?

Thereby keeping your postcount, profile, etc...
