Nothing wrong with what's being asked. It just ensures a common basis where everyone knows what is what and everyone knows they are not going to be put at a disadvantage through a lack of knowledge.
Keep it simple. Keep it stock. Anything out of the ordinary that is new or untried makes people wary. You are asking for mutual trust and that needs to be taken forward slowly.
Someone has to trust someone else first.

How about everyone who is interested, send a similar post:
Time: weekend, somewhere around 9pm CET
Map/game time: well it depends, are we going to play UO or the basic COD. With basic COD, mp_depot or carentan would be good. With UO, anyting goes.
Game type: I like TDM or capture the flag... maybe we could play both?
Rules of engagement: have fun.

UK is on GMT (universal time) at the moment. Central European Time is 1 hour ahead of UK time (8/9pm)
US Central time is 6 hours behind UK i.e. proposed time is 2/3pm for them.
Ireland is on GMT ... it just
seems like they are behind there
If you look on the main page
http://www.fighting-irish.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; 2nd button down on the right (with the pic of a clock) will give you an indication of what time everyone is on.
