~S~ to all of my fellow Irishmen. Pardon me while i pore a single malt ang gather up the skill to type a legible post. While I have been flying in the Sim Arena for several years and have flown with a couple of different Squads,a strong bond has yet to be obtained(most i fly with are Englishmen) and although they are most competent and some times fun, there is a bit of borish involved. I am hoping to link up with folks with a bit more in common. For many years I have flown as an n axis Pilot, now I feel the need to fly as an Allied Pilot. It will be a pleasure to join with you. I any have questions feel free to e-mail me.

				Welcome to your new quarters.
Just pass that wee bottle over here and we'll have Cpt. Falcon scrutinise your application (the one that can be filled in on this site by those wishing to share their whiskEy

 )
We have asome Englishmen in the squad, but they are well-trained by now - so you shouldn't have any trouble with them
(except Gurb, Grecian and oif course... dare I mention Monseignor Pike....- who is REALLY Irish but pretends to be a Cockney).
There are more.... too many to mention - but they qualify as Irish enough for my taste

And they bathe on a monthly basis too!!!!
Wonders will NEVER, eh?

S! Blue Morta
I´m glad to read that a skilled Irish pilot likes to join our wee community. Well, if you aren´t afraid of flying with English, Scottish, Dutch, Austrian, German, Portoguese, Canadian, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, and Polish guys then you´re very welcome! Of course you´ll also find some Irish lads here ...
Let me notice that we´re not an Allied squad only ... I mean we do fly as an Allied unit on some flight competitions like VEF or VWF but there´s always a way to jump into an Axis cockpit ...
Well, try to join some of our servers or pilots when you´re online on Hyperlobby and have a look how we handle things in the virtual skies ... tell us then if you still want to join our ranks. We do usually fly on Sunday´s afternoon(North Amercia)/evening(Europe) ... but the chances are good that you´ll meet us over the X-mas holidays, too.
Remember, never leave a mate alone! Not even in a Pub!!!!

Looking forward to meet you in the skies!

				Greets from a new member...

Greetings from sunny Cape Town South Africa
This is my first official post on your forum as a new member, and I know there will be many more in the weeks, months and hopefully years to come...
Been flying for about 3 weeks now and am completely "blow away" by this awe inspiring and realistic sim. I am 34 and with my Mother being Irish and my Father being East German I guess I'll leave it up to you folks to find a suitable avatar and nickname for me.
Oh and by the way, as mentioned in my application as an Air Cadet in the Fighting Irish Squadron - I fly with my teddy bear called TEDDY, who at the present moment in time (21:48) is passed out in his hammock amongst empty tequila bottles - (a slight mumble and drawn out whistle can be heard over my shoulder...) so unfortunately TEDDY can not say a few words this evening, but will in due course.
As TEDDY always says, "Watch your 12 o' clock for you might have one of my fingers up your left nostril".
Regards to all, big and small, short and tall.
Zee & TEDDY
