Good finds Frank! I'll look at all of 'em eventually.
The pilot in the P-38 film is aviation author Jeff Ethel, and I think he's flying a bird that belongs to the Tillamook NAS museum in Oregon. Tragically, he died in the crash of another P-38 he was flying at that same field in '97, probably not too long after this video was taken I would guess. Here's a link to a detailed article about the crash report. Very sad, since he was a real expert on lots of aviation topics and also a good family man from what I read years ago. On the bright side I believe he left some good books, films like this one, & other resources behind.
