Company of Heroes Goes Gold!
Altarboy try this http://www.zalman.co.kr/ I have an x800XT Pci ex. This solved most of my problems with the bugger. Look under heatpipe coolers for Graphics cards. They are pretty easy to install, have excellent instructions, and give good performance. Get the silent fan also, you will need it.

I'ev had Soldiers Heroes of WW2 for a week or so and I'm really hooked, the game is really great, and after installing the BTRH (i think it is called like that) mod it really rocks. Esp multiplayer. Great physics, armor penetration, great graphics - to make long short - fairly realistic.
I've bought Faces of War on Friday after enjoying the multiplayer and singleplayer demos of the game. Really like it, there is one serious problem though- the frame rate drops like crazy even on high end machines, which is totally ridiculous. the game has such a biiiig potential, however without a patchit will not become a hit. Pity that there is such need for a patch just after the release.
I still haven't got my copy of Company of Heroes, which is scheduled for release in my part of the woods for 27th or 28th. I should have it on Wenesday though. From the demos I know the games are totally different so probably there is no point of comparing them. I liked the beta of CoH and I hope to have good fun, esp multiplayer with the game. i hope Ubisoft improves the FoW game and it will rock just like CoH rocks accoprding to you, guys.
Mac
BTW - any multiplayer experience you cann tell me about? ( CoH)

Spooky and I have been kicking the crap out of each other the last few days. I won only one game. If you give someone enough time they will turn the critical areas of the map into a death zone. Unless you were biding your time until you could pull off that giantic rocket strike and clear the lot out
. I'd have to say that the connecting is a bit buggy, at least for me, but the multiplayer is rock solid. It's all pretty much about outsmarting your opponent and being a bastard with the defences. Such as, wiring an entire town with demo charges

You're right about the connections. Keep getting cut off several times and so annoying. In the St. Lo counter-attack I set up mines, barbed wire and tank obstacles then got all of me men out and defended the church. Man, the firefight around the church was awesome. The old AltarBoy remembered his rosary and prayed like hell
