Couldn't access the previous debriefings so not sure if this even applies. I notice that there was no debriefing for the 1st mission from last session (mission). Maybe this is true?

If, however, there was a last mission but you needed to make some tweaks (DCG), it will generate a new mission (same file name - overwrites) with all the debriefing gone.

Make a backup of that file (.properties file), or the entire campaign directory, beforehand, tweak DCG, generate new mission for next session, then cut and paste the debriefing information from the last mission into the newly generated one. Clear as mud right? :? Sorry if you knew all this mate.

Looks like a tough campaign. Kudos. ^:)
I saw right in and through the mud, Mark! Read and understood. The next log file will contain the previous debriefing then ...

Ty for the hints, TS! :)

Stats look a bit odd - briefing and team data seem to be for different missions - or at least for the one I flew. :D

Yeah, they have seemed a bit inaccurate the last few weeks ...

and, at this time, I will not mention again the late-game AI vulch on my parked ac in the third mission.

For the first mission I took the debriefing of the last Moscow '41 mission (actually I copied and pasted it right into the briefing of the new Kuban '42 mission) so there might had been some confusions about it.

I do apologise this mix up ...

But it doesn´t change anything on Stuart´s lousy flight performances! ;)

Sorry for my lack of participation last night :(

Control problems for the first mission and then very dodgy connection causing me to be kicked for the second :(

When I tested the connection it was less than 100kb - and my ISP wants to upgrade me from my current 1MB to 8MB

Hopefully I can get it improved before next Sunday!

Edit - did get it upgraded this week, not the 8MB advertised but around 3.5MB down and 500kB upload - should be a big improvement.

Bomber Pilot Woes :(

Well after last nights debacle I wonder if I can be bothered to fly a bomber again............

From my point of view last nights first mission was a pretty sorry tale. My flight of Pe2's was supposed to bomb some blue armour, escorted by Yaks with La5's flying CAP over the target (if memory serves). What happens - the La5's see some blue bombers in the distance and hare off to chase them down and I never see them over the target area, despite me pointing out on comms that the mission was escort and CAP over the bombers target. Approaching target and I can see Pike and his AI flight of Yaks at my 9 o'clock - but they don't know where we are. I see the blue 109's and shout for help - but get none of course. 10 seconds later Gadje blows me to smithereens on his first pass.

I know that in the FI we don't go in for all these rules and stuff, and we have done this subject to death in the past, but this was a coop (hint guys, it stands for COOPERATIVE). ](*,)

I couldn't face flying another such mission last night so dropped out after that first one.

I flew a DF coop on Mikesters server before we started and to be honest there was more cooperation in that environment (maybe due to friendly icons being on) than in our coop mission. Maybe I need a break from this for a bit.

Sorry for the rant :D

Nah! your quite right Nellip. If nobody flies bombers in these missions anymore I wont get so many points........<cough> I mean they become a tad one-dimensional. We might as well only do dogfight style co-ops.

When I spotted your small group of Pe-2's I assumed they were all AI being unprotected.
Funnily enough the same thing happened last week. Seeing unprotected IL-2's I decided to go headon with the lead AI IL-2. Again it was you but that time you blasted me to my great surprise...bar-steward.

Fighter pilots are simple things. Like wind-up toys you just need to point them in the right direction first and off they'll go. However leave them to their own devices and they'll go buzzing round and round in circles bumping into things..... like the landscape and each other.

I know we all want to get flying as quickly as possible but it really is worth spending proper time at the briefing finding out where everyone is going and planning accordingly. Then checking that everyone knows what to do. Then checking that everyone knows what to do. Then checking that everyone knows what to do.......sry did I mention, then checking that everyone knows what to do?.

The problem is mate because the average fighter jock has got the attention span of a dog biscuit - you could tattoo the mission brief on their b@ll@cks and they would still fly off in all directions
