Wednesday Nights - Historic Encounters

I haven't spoken to Mr. Baron yet this year, but he has indicated in a recent post over in the Historic Encounters thread that he will be flying tonight. As you probably know (if you have been reading my lengthy posts lately ) that I plan on hosting Historic Encounters on Fridays starting this week.
While I still intend to enjoy flying on Wednesdays, and even help with the hosting by usually providing a couple of campaign missions (which will still count towards folks' H.E. stats btw), I am hoping Snoopy provides us some training.

My intention tonight is to host 2 more missions in Guadalcanal. I have upgraded our P-39s to the best variant (D2) used by the Americans. She has the fastest speeds and best turn (I think). I also downgraded the enemy to a weaker Zero. Hopefully this will see the group have better success.
In the first mission, as requested by McBiggles (so you know who to blame ), we will try a groundpounding run during a thunderstorm. It should be a nice change, and not too hard actually given the Henderson airfield and gear configuration of the P-39. I have reduced the number of AI that will intercept us, plus we will have escort. Man I baby you guys too much.
In the next mission the weather will be nicer and the enemy strength will have returned. As for the mission type who knows, I have set it on Random. In the second mission let's try a full squad (human pilots) take-off!
I trust Snoop will then takeover the session and we can enjoy some training. And don't forget that on Friday we will tackle some teamplay in Kursk!
