I have downloaded Discord. Have either of you used it? TAW admins recommend it; apparently they have a TAW channel with news & such. They say it's the best source for keeping up on the latest for TAW.
Aside from that, I had it on my old PC & used it several times. Vocals are MUCH clearer than on TS, and it's free (no server to pay for). We might try using it if others are willing.

I'll be online on Sunday yet I'm not sure if we'll be able to join the TAW server since it's been pretty much crowded lately ...

And I've downloaded and installed Discord. What's your handle on it?

Hi Frank, thanks. No, no impact in my area except for 'refugees' staying in shelters in our area as well as many other cities in the state. I do have a number of friends & family that Harvey affected though. Some lost most or all posesssions, but living through it is the main thing. Those losses are tough but they will recover in time.

As for Discord, my handle's the same as in the game: =FI=Blue2
A few people appear to be using Discord for comms on TAW, some still using the TAW TS channel, but most apparently talking on their own private channels (although some will welcome 'guests'). We should try out Discord sometime soon & see how we like it. Only down side is no whisper channel capability, which isn't important unless you're trying to coordinate big groups. I suspect they're trying to develop it eventually.

Flew TAW for almost 3 hours last night with several others & had a great time! Yeah, may be tough to get on there tomorrow, we'll see.

Discord may be the thing eventually, but for today I suggest just meeting as normal on FI teamspeak. Not sure Aaron has/uses Discord either.
