I'm jumping ahead here with my second group of ac, but I had some extra time.
IL2 in IreGreen avec moutons.
Thousands wanted Sheila on ...
well many ...
...
at least two
...
well, maybe one member wanted Sheila on all the ground attack aircraft.
Wear and chip layers need adjustment with this color. Almost done.

Hurricane FI skin. Found some old black and white's of the actual aircraft the Irish AF used and as best I can tell I replicated it fairly well. I couldn't tell if it was a gray/green scheme or green/brown, so I just went with the brown. It's all dirtied up just the way we like 'em.
Noticed I have the 20's on there along with the BB's. I will fix that and change the skins for the correct model, sorry.

Seafire Mk III
I did a "Noter" and added some camo. Needs some more wear, dirt/oil underneath and some more 3d highlights.

These all look great and will add a new dimension to the coops.
But to admire all this artistic loveliness - shouldn't we be enabling externals?

You can see it from the outside. Just "re-live" the entire experience as many times as you like, from the "outside" of your plane, or any other plane for that matter, by watching the track recording of the entire mission. Then you can view the lovely skins that Falcon and Noter are making, and you won't even have to enable any externals.

Yeah, externals aren't necessary. It's good enough to see the other guy's aircraft during takeoff, close formation, tight furballs, landing, movies and weekly screen shots.

OK - as long as you artistic types don't feel unappreciated
BTW - any chance of a personalised IL2 with 42 on it, its a beauty!

and yes! Everyone will have a personalized IL2 when we're finished ...
erm, two weeks?
I'll put it on my list to give one to you sooner, but I'm still behind on my IreGreen Mossi's.
Thanks for asking,
