Are we sticking with 4.11.1 and HSFX for the campaign? No 4.12 patch?

Yes we stick with 4.11.1 at first.
I had no time to test 4.12 with DCG, as they changed events in the log for shared kills and I cant say if or how dcg can react on those events.

Hi folks,
thx for todays event, we really enjoyed the battles.
I updated the map, get it via my sig as always.
Damaged bridges and loss of fuel really slows us down ...
Intel for next sunday
Soviet forces are concentrated around Lesnoy Gorodok Depot (S-11).
German troops have captured Klimov Zavod (H-3).
Reports indicate that there is intense fighting at Ostashevo (L-13).
Reports indicate that there is intense fighting at Uvarovka Airstrip (K-10).
Heavy fighting reported at Peredel (L-7).
Heavy fighting reported at Dorokhovo (O-10).
Reports indicate that there is intense fighting at Volokolamsk (M-15).
I thought we would get already today resupplied, but maybe I cant count from 1 to 7.
So I expect resupply for next sundays missions.

confirmed.
edit:
pls keep your bombers off our bridges ffs!
Bridges are neutral objects and protected by agreements of the Geneva Convention.
Our target to reach Moscow before the next snow is in danger.
Thx in advance for understanding.

I think you misunderstand Nephris.
Larry blew up those bridges because we were embarrassed that you as our guests in the Motherland of Russia would find fault with them. Our latest engineers are approaching in T34's to rebuild them. Please be patient don't interrupt them and let them do their job unhindered.
Thank you.

Hi folks,
some of ours asked about locations of own colour behind enemy lines.
Why does the frontline not move.
I dont want to refuse that info, so here we go again in english.
There are 2 ways ,why a blue/red location can be behind enemy lines.
- due the special kind of drawing the frontline by the game, in using the perpendicular of two location and creating the intersection (I am better in german ,explaining that....)
- a location is contested and two flags are located on each other. The attacking colour is primary and so the attackers colour is always on top and shown on the map.
I guess following images express a bit more.
Flags on each other, blue was attacker
Flags dropped apart in the FMB
Both contested locations.
Just as fair meant hint, you should consider to bomb blue fuel storages aswell to slow down blue movements . Blue factories are located in Rhezv, Vyazma and Ugra. Bridges are a nice solution for short, but best work in combination.

Nephris,
By now I'm sure we need to transfer some squadrons. But we have not received the Excel file showing their location in over a month now. Actually we've never received it from the guy you said was going to take over the task of updating that file. Kindly send us the current one when you can, and we'll try to submit transfer requests before Sunday. Thanks!

Blue2 wrote:Actually we've never received it from the guy you said was going to take over the task of updating that file.
That would be me...
I tried to update the list using the squadron.dcg provided by Nephris. But it turned out this file does not show any info about downgrades. Therefore there was no way of being sure if the planes listed there were in fact available or not.
As we were unable to find the file containing the information about downgrades we decided the list was useless and stopped updating it.
All I could do would be a rough list / map showing the position of level 1 planes on their respective airfields. But only in the generated mission one would be able to see if there are level 1, 2 or maybe only level 3 planes available.
It is still better than nothing - if you want such a list, I could restart updating as soon as Nephris sends out the current squadron.dcg.
Cheers!

This is DCG file (squadron.dcg) representing all aircrafts and its locations.
Not as comfortable as an excel file, but for the quick solution fine I guess.
I suppose we have to move some aircrafts this time also.
Maybe I will find some time this afternoon to transfer the dates to the excel file, depends on how much to do at work

Get the complete file
here (listing all AI only, human red and blue squadrons aswell)
I will be off in summer holidays at 28th july for complete August,
so we get 14th and 21st july to go.
Are you interested in new supply for the planes for next sunday ?
Means all squadrons you see in the list above would be filled 100% again.
I suppose the last time before the summer break.
edit:
get the excel file from
here
Looks like the downgrade doesent kick correct on all squadrons, as some planes (for blue and red aswell) didnt appeared in the past mission (Lagg,E7b for F4 but instead E4b etc)
Will have to check the nerves tripping donwgrades function with the option of "human only" in the summer break.
Another way would be to work with static plane numbers in each mission, or using the max available numbers of planes each squadron (16) and limiting the number of active AI planes each mission per flight, and then share that number with AI (...what a sentence...) For some reason the downgrade works with "AI & human" option without any issues.

Understood, Zahl, no worries mate.
Thanks for the file Nephris. Will submit our transfers no later than tomorrow.
I'm indifferent about resupply of planes... haven't seen any of the boys giving their opinion on that yet either. Maybe by tomorrow. Don't completely follow some of the other DCG details you're talking about there, honestly, but personally I'm not very concerned about how the downgrades are functioning at this point. However I do wish you good luck in learning how to make it behave just as you intend it to.
A number of our guys will be absent this coming Sunday, away on holiday or business I believe. We will try to get some of the JaVA boys to join again so it's not as imbalanced as I hear it was last time. So you have 2 Sundays left to try to win this, huh? Looks like you have a decent chance of pulling it off, but we're going to try not to make it easy for you!
We are discussing options of what to do next after this campaign (the questions you sent through Genosse). No strong preferences yet but several good ideas so far. I think most if not all of us are flexible about it. Do your guys have some good ideas for what we do on the Sundays in August? Is there interest in joining us and flying some other sorts of missions during that period... maybe some coop missions made for 4.12 or something like that?

So far there are no plans I am aware of. I'll ask the boys about it.
I'm planning to spend some time in Sweden from the start of august till the 14th. But I'm sure the others will be up to something!
Coop Missions for 4.12 sound good. I'll give you a heads up as soon as there's some feedback.
Cheers & good night!

Good evening Gentlemen,
thx for the evening , we really enjoyed especially our "date" at Moshaisk today!
We are ready for the next duell
Sry to Ardmore, I really am no fan of killing starting pilots, but I know I sound not really liable at this.
This is the intel for next mission
German forces are concentrated around Pogoreloe-Gorodische (H-16).
Soviet forces are concentrated around Golitzyn (S-11).
Soviet forces are retreating from Peredel Dropzone (N-7).
Soviet forces are concentrated around Lesnoy Gorodok Depot (S-11).
German troops have captured Dorokhovo (O-10).
Soviet troops have captured Shakovskaya (K-15).
Reports indicate that there is intense fighting at Peredel Dropzone (N-7).
Heavy fighting reported at Yukhnov (I-2).
The map is up to date.
Following airfields are the still usable (and safe) airfields fore red , if u want to transfer again some planes
Medyn Airstrip (not safe anymore)
Medyn Airfield
Naro Fominsk
Balabanovo
Istra
Kubinka
Ruza
Volokolamsk
It is a great idea to keep the sunday evening dates alive awhile august, each of our pilots that are not in holidays, are fine for some coops.
I ll be off in holidays from 28th july - 18th august.
I expect to be back for 25th august.
Maybe you are interested in one of the
very first front lines

This is what pretty much everybody involved in the current campaign has agreed to. Some pilots will be on holiday during august (like Miau and myself) , so there will probably a little bit less people available than usual.
So all in all we are definitely interested in spending the coming Sundays with you guys. Nobody seems to be against any kind of mission, so we gladly fly whatever you can provide. So did I understand correctly that you can provide a mission and server?
That would be great because our own server is not repaired so far and I don't think any of us could draw a ready-to-fly mission out of his sleeve.
Personally I would prefer MDS missions over COOP, just because there are less waiting times.
Nephris said you guys fly strictly on the red side. As I enjoy flying both red and blue, I like to maybe use 'unofficial-fun-august' to switch sides here and then, if that's ok for you.
One last thing: As said before, I will be absent for the first and second Sunday in august. I'll tell the boys to keep an eye on your forum, but maybe one of you (Genosse?) can post some details about server, mission and time in our forum?
Cheers & and a sunny Saturday to all of you!
