Re: Team Match application
yes no problem, I'll set the icons back to friendly only. I'll also reset the scrip when we are about to play.
I'll reduce my connection speed to 28 this may also help with the pings.
cheers

Todays' fights were very impressive, all SGI members were excited by this match and, well, exhausted happily:D
The server is good. maybe you have found that in the middle of match about 4 SGI memberss ping beyonded 700, for they all live in southern China, I thought that is the problem of their ISP, for there are 2 main ISP in China, one for northern and one for southern. Anyway that was not the problem of server.
The difficulty setting is also good. Speedbar saved most of us when we flying spitfire
About the fight, you may have found most Chinese players have no sence of taking the advantage of altitude. We may climb but just do not like to keep altitude advantage and bnz, we prefer tnb more So today's fight the best achievement for us is that we have learnt key of group fighting: the importance of energy and cooperation. Another point is that we found the distance from a front airbase to another's back airbase is a little far.
We certainly shall do this match again. If you have any Friday that you can assemble your men, please inform me in xfire, our forum is Chinese so you might unable to read it. My ID in xfire is rafsola. How about we do spit5c vs zero5 next time?
Thanks again for the great fun game today, S!

Re: Team Match application
Hi Sola,
Can we start to make plans for another match?
Think we should reduce the number of planes/pilots in our next meeting. As much as I enjoyed it i like to go to my bed before 5am
So let me know, date time etc. Also we need to add on a extra hour, we seemed to be an hour early last time.

Re: Team Match application
4v4 would seem appropriate.
And starting an hour earlier would work well all around, I think.

...and wear your feckin' mask!!!!!
Re: Team Match application
rgr 4v4 with less plane and pilot, I will ask SGI and reply asap.
Re: Team Match application
I suggest we make it more realistic too. I saw so many folk being shot (that means defeated) but landing, respawning and being back in the fight 3 min later with no effect on the scoring. That is arcade to me. Lets have one pilot with one plane each fight as in reality and once one side has lost its ability to fly we restart again.
In IL2 that can only be done as a coop so lets do it as that. Its more realistic and requires you to care for your plane as your life.
So a set of coops, once your damaged you are in trouble, you may land but that means its over for you. That seems more realistic to me.
