I have Il-2 Forgotten battles in my computer and when I click my computer it shows the IL2 symbol on the F drive.

Yep, so you need to find its exact location. Search your F-drive for ubi soft folder. Just be careful, do not delete/replace anything in your f-drive.

right click on desktop icon, select properties on drop down menu....
then click "Find Target " button.

all you have to do then is copy address from the address bar of the window that opens and paste that path into hyperlobby

Going back a few posts... Hyperlobby does have have different connections for IL2 Sturmovik and Forgotten Battles.

Could be if it couldn't find you install folder, you clicked teh IL2 Sturmovik option rather than the Forgotten Battles one.

I'm guessing F: is your CD rom drive, have you a desktop shortcut?

(If youre still stuck finding the folder just do a search for Il2FB)

It turns out that I was accidentally clicking the IL-2 Server instead of the IL-2 Forgotten Battles server. I am sorry if I wasted your guys time but I want to say thanks for helping me anyway. I'll see you guys online.

I just have one more question though. Every time I go to join a game it sais I cannot play because I either don't have 4.03 or 4.05 or other numbers like that. I know their downloads but I was wondering if you guys knew were to get them?

I was also wondering when and were I can find you guys?

4.05 is the latest patch for FB+AEP+PF. If you still dont have Pacific fighters, you cant play on any server that use 4.04 or 4.05.

Patch up to 4.04m by going to the Ubi website or Sneaky can send you the mage patch which does it all for you :D

Unfortunately you then have to buy the Pe-2 addon and then you can play online!

I only have the gold pack and I had to reinstall it because I think I put to much on it like skins, missions, patches, etc.

Skins and missions shouldnt affect things ( unless youre running out of space on your hard drive(s).

Installing the wrong patches will (I made that mistake when I was starting off )

You will need the Pacific Fighter CD to join the Hyperlobby servers.

Would suggest you install the Gold pack (IL2FB+Aces Expansion), install PF when you get it and then download the megapatch to update to v 4.04m (test the game between each install or patch to make sure it all works OK).

Then when you're ready for PE2 SAVE theIl2.exe andIl2FB.exe files in a backup folder.

You will need to copy and paste these back to your game folder once you have installed the PE2 add on,otherwise your PC will try to log in to Boontybox every time you start IL2 (call it ad-ware, spyware whatever, you dont need it to run the sim and it nicks resources)
