Around here, ( Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico) the primary colors are brown, grey and burned to a crisp.
Hasn't rained enough to fill a tea cup in six months here. Drought conditions abound. Grass and prairie fires are an hourly occurance. Beruda grass hay is selling for $8 a bale. ( about 70 lbs) nearly 4 times what it sold for last year. Ridin a horse isn't a cheap alternative to high gas prices any more.
