I have one of these paper clips on the brim of a baseball cap and have four track IR dots arranged to makea small cross on the flat face of the clip. I also oave the two legs of the clip folded up against the brimg.
Works ok, but a rounded surface is ideal as with this solution if you turn to far TrackIR might not be able to see the dots.

I have a trackir dot stuck to one of my daughters hair clips. I then stick the clip onto the bridge of my reading glasses. Works fine for me but I get some funny looks when I forget the clip is there and I go and answer the door.

and it involves a wooden ball, reflective tape, and a screw with an alligator clip attatched or something like that...
