Sorry I didn't show, got caught up with Christmas things and just couldn't break away - ran into family I hadn't seen in ages and had to goto the bar and drink beer and catch up, it was aweful.

I just found a cool website containing a community manual for SHIII including a section on how to change the game's resolution:

I now have it running in 1600x1200 with RUb1.45 realism mod installed and it looks sweeeeeet. Now all I gotta do is start my first patrol...

...where did I put those Lifesavers??

Yeah,it is great.

I learned a lot from it.

And I also use the SH3 Commander software to manage my careers , it is very helpful, you can find it at the http://www.subsim.com.
