If yer definite about going SLI Dec you shouldn't have to worry about the cards ram as you will have 2GB with 2x 1GB cards and that will be more plenty even for CloD. What I mean is I wouldn't get an inferior card to the 560ti just for the Vram that it has, particularly if as you say it's a similar price.

Nobody could have talked me out of an SLI system when I did it but Im on a single card now. Even in SLI supported games micro-stutters are a very common problem (that Nvidia themselves acknowledge) and unfortunately flight sims seem to be particularly prone to them. Added to that the power and heat penalties got me to the point where I decided on a bigger single card.

SLI has moved on since I had that setup and its supposed to be much more efficient. Either way you should be hot to trot for a while with that beasty Dec.

You won't lose any money on the deck, but 1024 cassettes can add up pretty quick.

what a great game. I spent an awful lot if time playing that and its follow ons. A really great game. I tried Eve online which is mean to be similar but it is nowhere near as good.

Get a bbc/amigae/zx80 etc emulator (software) and you can play all your old games. Great fun.
