Great video. It seems to have a shorter takeoff run then that modelled in IL2?

The shape of the cowl kind of reminded me of the engines in the racing F8F's. They're narrower, and from what I understand readily available. Thus, this bird wouldn't produce the sound that a real FW would have made.

I don't know, the four bladed prop sort of ruined it for me although it was nice seeing it flying.

It's got a Russian engine in it now if I recall correctly.
Sacrilegious, but at least it's flying.
