Re: The new iPhone 4
Regardless whether you get an I-Phone or not, you f*cked anyway if you want internet access on a phone.
Example:
On Fathers Day they had a big promotion that "All phones Are Free" (meaning that you didn't have to pay any up-front costs).
I wanted to get an HTC with Garmin capability (but wasn't particularly interest in the Internet aspect of it) and wanted to do a Monthly Service contract.
The Month-to-Month program would be $39 each month plus $35/month for internet. OK. $74/month isn't too bad, and the phone would be "free".
I was informed that T-Mobile requires 2-year contract for $99/month.
????????
It would cost me $20/month MORE to be bound to a 2-year contract just so they can make me pay for the "free" phone ($20/month x 24 = $480), AND the phone is normally priced at $450.
Rip-off artists. F*cking assholes!
Try to force me to accept a 2-year contract to pay for "free" phone at an inflated price.
I said as much and was asked to leave, so I immediately started telling some of the customers about Skype ($13.99/month subscription to call over 40 countries using VOIP).
It is my sincere hope they lost a few customers that day.
