Space Game, That never was.
Acouple of weeks ago some of us were chatting on TS and someone mentioned waiting for a good Space Sci fi game, Homeworld like. Well here is a link to a game that never was, but appeared to have a lot of potential.

That looks great, Sack;)) So it was never released??
I think X series are great space sci-fi games - it consists of X-Beyond the Frontier and X-Tension, X2-The Threat, X3-Reunion and X3-Terran Conflict.
Here are some movies from these:

However....I dream of a new Frontier game which would make use of today's PC's computing power.... Elite and Frontier still weren't matched by any space game IMHO.

You've read my mind my friend. Elite Frontiers 2 wasted many a night for me. If you are nostalgic here is a link to a GL version of Frontier Elite 2.

Yeah, your own wee ship in a good space sim with rpg and strategy elements without having to juggle fleets and empires would be great.
Keep the faith guys.

Oh god, this makes me feel ancient.
Sat in front of the TV with a BBC 'B' computer and a 2 button jostick waiting for a tape loading copy of Elite to finish running up.
Better get myself on the list for the rest home.

Impressive graphics , just wonder how gameplay translates into that. Guess we'll never know.
