COD 4 Map and Mod tools released

Gentlemen,

The Map and Mod tools are released last night.

wich means the skinners and mapmakers can go for it .

so maps and other stuff will be online any day from now.

so if there are nice maps wich fit in the mind and feel of the FIP community
we can give them a try.
we have to be aware that we are not fall back to the mistake that we have to download a map a day because that keep the Most FI away.

this was 99% my mistake so i will be aware of this.

but good maps can be advised from anyone then we can test it and vote if we wanto play this map.

Ialso read that there is the possability to use the maps from COD 2
so that can be a nice supprice hurtgen, brecourt or carentan 60 years later.

is this an Idea ??

The skins are of no interest, but the maps will bring more fun. What we could do with is a decent Forest map (no buildings, gives the snipers some fun), any else have any thoughts on maps?

I dream of CArentan map and of PAvlov's house (that was the name?) and the one in tunisia with cool roofs from cod2.Anyway, I feel CoD2 wasn't that bad now;)

Someone make a large map! One criticism I have of COD4 is that on some maps a spawning enemy player can damn near lob a grenade into the area why I spawn. Snipers really can't be used to any degree of effectiveness either because a scoped gun in the game has no real advantage over open sights.
