Hello! I want to say that I really like you folks' website and forum here. You seem to really enjoy yourselves.
I'm Bob, I'm from the US, and I've flown IL-2 off and on since it came out in Nov. 2001.
I'll be honest, I'd be a lot better if I didn't fly after drinking several bottles of Harp. (Apologies to all you Guinness and Smiddick's (Smithwick's) drinkers...but I like Harp the best). Something about imbibing like that just impairs my gunnery...on the other hand, at least I'm happy.
Sláinte!

Welcome mate
We have more than a few members partial to the odd drop of alcohol before flying....(you know who you are

)
Hope to see you up in the virtual skies.

Hi Bob.
A fresh coat of varnish on the wainscoting and I don't need a drink

; though I must say I prefer lager free alcohol.

Hello, Bob and welcome. I'm not much of a drinker anymore but I did down a six-pack of Heineken beer over the weekend.
