Well, back at work and using the internet here. I applied for wireless and will get it up in a week or two (but damn it's expensive!) Life out in da country took some getting used to. The apartment is pretty ok but listening to cows moo ain't so bad. It's the bloody mosquitoes that's a pain. Man, they come after you in swarms if you leave your door open after 6pm! Anyway, hope to rejoin you guys soon online if the wireless works, so until next time.

Yes, but the stripes run the other way!

Those guys are idiots and we are thankful they are. The last fugitive gave himself up and what a bunch of old geezers suffering from delusions of grandeur. I may have to cancel my US trip- sure don't want US Homeland Security see my boxer shorts.

Anyway, back to the countryside. I've managed to settle down and one thing that I noticed is the unending hospitality of these folks. There isn't anything these guys won't help out with. If I run out of something they'll give it to me. I wanted to build two more rooms and they said they'll do it for half price. They've certainly made my transition easier by far and I'm very grateful. I'm going to throw a Barbecue for them and hopefully the smoke will drive out the mossies (and my mother-in-law) at the same time.
