Shivering Isles (Oblivion)
Last spring I played a new (and amazing) RPG called Oblivion on the Xbox 360. I know several other lads like Falcon also picked it up for the PC, while some mates like Heloego just starting to get into this massive game more recently.
Well after really enjoying the game, finishing the main quest (and countless side ones), with lots of money, houses, armour and a level around 50, I forced myself to DELETE my bloody character to put a stop to this gaming madness!
So some small content add-ons pop out. Cool. But now this expansion Shivering Isles looks pretty interesting. Needless to say I created a new character and have started back into this fantasy world in anticipation of the expansion (that comes out next week). I just hope the wifey can forgive me.
Falcon (et al) you getting back into this game when the expansion is released? Or have you left it for good?

What?! And give up Elf biz!?!
No way Jose!
A month or so ago I started the "Kah-nig-its of the Nine" mod with a new character and she, uh-erm, I mean he's all ready for the new game.
The character is just a poor human this time and I've stunted its growth to low levels by giving it key skills like telemarketing, owl driver, sweeping and shade repair. With everything scaled it makes things simpler.
You know for sure it's next week Mark? All I've seen is "Spring '07".

It was released on the Marketplace for download on March 27. I intend to purchase it for my son for Easter. He seems pretty excited. I haven't been gaming a whole lot outside of IL-2/HE, but I did manage to start a new character in the hopes of trying out this new expansion. If not I can always watch him play. Looks cool!

Shivering Isles is pretty darn good. Same ol'FedEx-type stuff but with new scenery and bad guys. The characters are interesting and the dungeons have a few more surprises in store for you.
